In other news, the Baltimore Ravens has cut ties with probowl safety Earl Thomas sighting conduct detrimental to the team. This steams from an altercation at practice in which Thomas punched fellow teammate Chuck Clark. This isn't the first incident involving Thomas and apparently team leaders had enough.
  • The NBA playoffs roll along with one exciting game after another. Luka Doncic hit a game winning 3 pointer with no time left on the clock to tie the series 2-2 with the Clipper. The Jazz beat the Nuggets to go up 3-1, Raptors won the series against the Nets, the Celtics eliminated the 76ers, Lakers went up 3-1 on the Trailblazers, Bucks went up 3-1 on the Magic, Rockets and Thunder are tied 2-2 and the Heat eliminated the Pacers.

  • The Washington Football Team continues to have issues. In addition to the misconduct allegations, Issues with Derrius Guice, and the name change, Ron Rivera has now been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma. He should see a full recovery but our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

In the main event Champion Stipe Miocic ruined Daniel Comiers retirement party by taking the 3rd fight of the trilogy with a unanimous decision victory. Also Jon Jones has vacated his light heavyweight title in what is speculated to be an attempt at a superfight with heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic.
  • NHL playoffs continued over the weekend. The Lightning defeated the Blue Jackets to go up 3-1, the Avalanche defeated the Coyotes to also go up 3-1. The Bruins took down the Hurricanes to take 3-1 lead in that series and the Blues defeated the Canucks to take the series lead 3-1.

Notable extensions include Miles Garrett setting a record for defensive players with a 100 million dollar extension and Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry signing a 4 year extension worth $25.5 million dollars.
